"Hey hey hey," Airous said stepping in front of her and placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "...don't stress out. If they are down there and you happen to trip I'll catch you and fight off the bad guys." He gave her a wide grin showing of his white teeth.
"Awww your cute when you can't decide." his smiled only seemed to get wider.
He took a moment to think about what she had said. "But...what I'm thinking....isn't the happiest thought in the world..." he muttered to himself. Then he looked up into her eyes. "You know what, you got a deal but you need to tell me your thoughts first." He said his smiled returning. |

Jayla glanced at his hand on her shoulder before looking at his face. Her eyes studied him for a moment, then she smiled in return to his grin. It was hard not to react that way when he grinned at her, plus it was just a natural thing for her. Though, at his comment on her being cute when she was indecisive, she felt her cheeks heat up and she immediately buried her face into his shoulder on reflex.
She always tried to hide if she blushed, regardless.
Hesitantly, Jay made herself pull her face away from his shoulder for a moment and looked at him. She found that he was looking right at her, and her gaze met his. Then she shrugged a bit. "Still, it needs to be vice versa." She said, teasing lightly before grimacing. "Uh...I don't know about that..." She said, but then immediately buried her face in his shoulder before she answered.
Her answer came out as a mumble, but it was able to be understood from what she could hear. "I'm thinking about your question from the elevator, when we almost got to this floor. About what we were." She muttered into his shoulder, her voice - sadly - able to be understood. Jayla felt her cheeks warm once more but she didn't show her face and just buried it deeper into his shoulder in embarassment.

Airous chuckled. When she put her head on his shoulder he automatically wrap his arms around her. He imminently felt her warmth in his arms. "Don't hide. Your cute when you blush." He smiled.
When she mentioned his question, Airous felt blood rush to his cheeks for a moment. He watched her for a second/ "Oh really?" He smirked and a small light of hope could be seen in his eyes.
"Well....now I'm thinking of what it would be like to have a date with you." He felt his cheeks turn bright red and he turned his head away so she couldn't see. |

Jayla felt his arms wrap around her, and it was tempting to look up. But, since she still felt the warmth in her cheeks, she kept her face hidden against his shoulder. It didn't help her when she heard him say she was cute when she blushed. "But I wanna hide...I don't like people seeing me blush." She mumbled into his shoulder, and when he spoke again, she peeked at him.
"You're smirking, I can tell by your tone and because I see it." She said, and and a small laugh bubbled up from her lips. Then she sighed, and pulled her face away from his shoulder and looked at him. Her cheeks were still somewhat pink, but she honestly didn't care.
The blush wasn't as bad as it had been, which she was thankful for right now. Hiding wasn't her favorite, but having someone see her blush made her even more embarassed and she'd rather hide.
At his next words, she raised an eyebrow as a impish grin grew on her lips. Though she saw him blush before he turned his head, she decided to tease him. "Aww, don't hide. You're cute when you blush." She said, her grin growing as she tapped his nose lightly with her finger. 'At least I'm not lying...' Jayla thought as she laughed quietly. "You were the one telling me not to hide while blushing, Airous. Are you going to go against your own word?" She asked, trying to look him in the eye. Her eyes seemed to have a light in them, mostly because she was enjoying herself and she was happy at the moment. "Airous..." She said in a sing song voice, grinning widely as she tapped his nose again.

Airous shook his head. "Don't hide. Please."
Airous blushed even harder but looked up at her. "Nope, I won't hide." He smiled and poked her nose back. "And either should you. You have such a beautiful face that you shouldn't hide it." He smirked knowing that that would only make her blush more.
"Besides your eyes are shinning to, so you most like flirting with me. That's a good sign right? It means I have a chance." He smiled grew and the red on his cheeks started to fade away. |

Jayla looked at him, and laughed. "Depends." She said, not completely sure if she would hide her face again. It depended on what he said, and whether not she would automatically hide her face. But, she had a feeling that she probably would end up doing so anyways. Airous would probably say something that would cause her to.
She smirked at him when his blush darkened. "Surprising." She commented, and scrunched her nose a bit when he poked it. And then, a surprised sound that somewhat sounded like a squeak came from her and she buried her face in his shoulder again as a blush colored her cheeks. 'Darn it!' She cursed silently in her mind. She knew that this was bound to happen again, considering it was almost like he enjoyed making her blush. Which was most likely the case, but either way, she had known this would happen again, regardless.
But, when he spoke again, she lifted her head from his shoulder with her cheeks filled with color. "I wasn't flirting!" She whined, though it practically was a lie. She somewhat was, but she wasn't going to admit it.

Airous laughed as she hide from him again, using his shoulder. "You only blush because you know it's true." He grimed widely, enjoying how she seemed to blush every time he told her the truth.
Fact was, Airous never had a girlfriend, let alone a girl as a friend. If he was to be Jayla's friend he would be happy with it. But if he where to be more than a friend to her, he'd show her how a guy should treat her.
He wrapped his around her again, still smiling. "If you weren't flirting, then what where you doing?" he asked curiously. |

"No..." Jayla muttered, not looking up at him. She didn't think it was true, and she didn't know how he could think that. Honestly, the reason she was blushing she didn't know. It was odd, considering it was usually difficult to make her do so.
Of course it didn't apply at the moment, sadly, for her.
At his question about what she was doing if she wasn't flirting...she didn't exactly have an answer for that. She knew she had tried to pull off a lie to cover that she indeed was flirting, but honestly, she couldn't come up with another somewhat good answer right now. "Uh..." was all that she managed to think of. Burying her face in his shoulder again, she sighed.

Airous laughed and held her closer this time. "I'm sorry for making you blush, it's just so fun." He smirked "And for the record I like flirting with you too."
His stomached growled and his face turned red again. "I think by now the goons are gone...wanna go eat?" he asked softly in her ear. He hope she would say no so he could continue holding her but he wanted her to say yes because he was starving. |

She pulled her head away from his shoulder gingerly, and looked at him. "It's usually hard to make me blush." She muttered, averting her gaze from him as she ducked her head when he smirked. Then Jayla buried her head in his shoulder once more at his next words.
Then, cautiously, she lifted her head from his shoulder once more, and sighed. Hearing his voice right in her ear, she didn't know why but for some strange reason she started feeling a little bit nervous. She brushed it off and raised an eyebrow as she pulled back to look at him.
Yes. No. Yes. No. Yes. No. Yes. No? Yes...
She leaned closer till her face was only an inch from his and a grin came to her lips. "Sure, but I'm still paying. For all of it." She said, her grin turning into a smirk. Jayla hadn't thought that something like that she would remember, but strangely enough she remembered it. "So, do you want to go?" She said, grinning at him. Somehow, she had managed to brush off the nerves and relax again.
It kind of relieved her, but she couldn't trust it to last for long.

Airous chuckled. "Oh really? But I've made you blush so much. It seems so easy." He smirked and moved some of her hair out of her face so he could look into her eyes.

Jayla laughed softly, an embarassed smile on her lips as she looked down for a moment. But when Airous moved her hair out of her face, she looked up at him and met his gaze. "I don't know why you're able to make me blush so easily. Maybe it's because you flirt a lot." She said, her smile growing into a teasing grin.
She raised an eyebrow, and flicked the side of his head lightly with her free hand.
"But I wanna pay for all of it." She whined, pouting. But, giving up for once she blew a sigh and a strand of her hair hung in front of her face. She glowered at the hair, and then used her free hand to brush it out of the way. "Depends, do you want to go? Because I don't care either way." She said, shrugging as she looked at him expectantly.

Jayla ducked her head, feeling a blush color her cheeks once more, and then hit her forehead with her free hand. "You're doing it again." She muttered, a sheepish grin on her lips as she looked back up. Then, she rolled her eyes at him. "Well, obviously, you get to see me blush a lot so far. So, I can probably tell why." She said.
A laugh came from her as she looked at him with an eyebrow raised. "I'm not ticklish, Airous." She said, smirking in return.
But, Jay's smirk faded as he kissed the back of her hand. And her blush had faded, but her cheeks were tinted in pink. Then she pouted and groaned. "But I wanna pay for all of it! Pleaseeee?" She said, giving him puppy dog eyes and hoping it would work. For a moment, she forgot why she wanted to pay for everything but then she remembered all of the money in her pocket and bit her lower lip.

She gave an embarassed smile and rolled her eyes. "Obviously you like flirting with me. But, for the record, I honestly do not blush very easily. Well...usually. I just don't know why..." She said, trailing off as she thought. The last part was a lie; she knew why. Jayla liked him. Simple as that, and plus he knew what to say to make her blush...so that also played a part.
Never would she admit any of that.
Jayla stood, and smirked at him when he tried to tickle her sides. "Nope, I only have one ticklish spot and I'm not telling you." She said, and grinned triumphantly. The only place she was ticklish was the center of her stomach, and since he was trying her sides, it wasn't working. She didn't want him to find out though, otherwise it would just be another thing he could use against her.
Then, her smirk came back and she lightly took his hand and made him pat his own cheek with it. Then, she laced her fingers through his. "You do realize that's just going to make me pout more, right? I wanna pay for it all." She said, and shrugging a shoulder at him as she smiled widely.
At that moment, she kinda remembered an idea that had vaguely come to mind earlier. 'Whatever, might as well...' She thought, and measured his expression for a moment before she quickly leaned in and pecked his cheek before pulling away. Then, she grinned widely at him. "That's for helping me get away from the idiots." Jay said, rolling her eyes.

Airous laughed. "Well for the record I like it when you blush. It makes your cheeks a cute pink and your eyes light up." He smiled knowing that he might get a little blush from that.
As she didn't laugh when he tried to tickle her he huffed in frustration and tried to tickle the bottom of her back. He was especially ticklish there so he thought that she might be to.
Airous blinked. She was almost agreeing with him. But he liked this flirting mixed with a small argument. She could really do a puppy dog face that he was falling in love with. He didn't want it to end. "Well...maybe I'll let you pay," He winked at her.
She had leaned up and done something that caught him off guard. She gave him a small kiss on the cheek. His cheeks insistently went a bright red. He blinked a few times trying to center himself again and smiled at her. "It was no problem...do I get more where that came from if I save you again?" He asked smirking and raising a brow. |

Jayla rolled her eyes, and felt her cheeks heat up a bit. "Grr." She grumbled, ducking her head for a moment before forcing herself to look up. She let out a large breath that she hadn't noticed that she was holding and it turned into a laugh.
"Told ya I'm not very ticklish. Believe me now?" She said, grinning widely at him as he continued to try and tickle her. "So, you might as well give up." She said, smiling innocently at him as she tapped his nose with her fingertip. Then, as he stopped trying to tickle her and just blinked, she raised an eyebrow at his expression. Her head tilted slightly in curiosity, and then she gaped at him before shutting her mouth. "Awww, come on!" She whined, pouting as she crossed her arms. Jay huffed stubbornly.
But, she took her mind off of that when she saw his reaction to her merely kissing his cheek. A small laugh burst from her lips and she put her hand over her mouth to muffle the sound.
It was difficult.
"Didn't realize if would have that affect." She said teasingly, raising her hand to touch his cheek for a moment before she let it tuck back underneath her arm still folded across her torso. Jayla raised an eyebrow once more when he recollected himself, and looked at him for a moment and then she shrugged playfully, and rolled her eyes again. "It's a possibility." She said, unable to keep the silly grin from curving her lips as she poked his nose once more teasingly.

Airous laughed as she blushed once again. "Told you." He smirked happily as she tried to hide once more. But it was to late, he already had seen her blush.
He smirked. "I'll find your tickle spot just you wait." He blinked remembering something one of his old friends from muggle school had showed him. He leaned into her slightly and blew gently on the side of her neck. Most the girls he had experimented this with had been extremely ticklish there, with such a soft wind going on there neck. For him though, it had made chills go down his spin.
He watched her laugh at him. "Well, I didn't expect to get a kiss so soon. I kinda...liked it a lot." He smiled at her. "So I'll have to earn another."
Airous took her hand in his and led her to the door. "Come now, let's grab something to eat and figure out who's paying." |

Jayla pouted before laughing lightly. "So!" She mumbled, looking down as she scuffed her foot on the floor. Then, she looked up at him and smirked back at him. "No, you won't. I can guarantee it." She said, sticking her tongue out at him.
But when he blew on the side of her neck, it gave her chills that were somewhat pleasant. She shifted her shoulders a little bit and scrunched her nose. "Nope, not it. But that felt so weird!" She said, laughing a little bit. "And I still don't think you'll find it!" She added, grinning widely like an idiot. Jayla was doubting that he would find it, or at least she was hoping he wouldn't. She wasn't ticklish in very many places, but the places she was ticklish in...well, she was very ticklish for the certain spots.
A shrug and a smile was her reaction. "Well, since you're so stubborn on not letting me pay for everything when we go eat, there had to be an ultimatum to thank you completely." She said, rolling her eyes. Then she raised an eyebrow. "And how do you plan to do that?" Jay asked, thinking about it. He was going to try to earn another kiss from her...she found that as a good thing...a very, very good thing...
When he took her hand, which she was starting to get familiar with, she smiled a bit. Then, she sighed. "I get to pay for at least a little more than half. Please?" She said, biting her lower lip as she looked at him with innocent eyes.
