Saturday , 2PM in the afternoon . Mandy didn't know what to do . She had no classes today . She couldn't even go to Hogsmeade , given that it wasn't Hogsmeade weekend . Bored out of her wits , she headed down to the Black Lake where she usually went to relax .
She sat down near the lake , admiring the beautiful scenery around her . Once or twice she saw the lake's giant squid emerge from within the deep waters . She wasn't used to being alone . She wanted to meet someone new , hopefully someone who was willing to be her friend .
