History:
Ava is the first born child in her family. Her childhood was fairly normal, there was nothing too crazy or exciting about it to report. She grew up as a family kind of girl, she would rather spend time with her family all day then go out with friends. It wasn't a good thing for her simply because it made her shy when it came to meeting new people.
At eleven she received her letter to Hogwarts and no matter how nervous she may have been, she went into the school with an open mind. She was sorted into Hufflepuff there and easily became friends with most of the other first years. In school, she's a bit of a book nerd, always trying to get all of her work done before heading out to do anything else. Not that she has done much else anyways, still a bit nervous when it comes to meeting new people. But now it's her fifth year, she's ready to change her ways.
Personality:
Ava is almost an exact opposite of her twin. While Phoenix is care free and stands up for what she believes in, Ava worries like crazy and is too shy to stand up for herself. Her paranoia is a little insane sometimes. It's not so much with ghosts and spirits, because she knows they exist, it's more that she's nervous things aren't going to turn out the right way. If, on the rare occasion, she does something wrong, Ava has been known to get herself sick worrying over whether or not she's going to get caught. She is definitely a worst case scenario kind of girl.
Just because she's a bit shy doesn't mean that Ava isn't impatient, stubborn, and controlling at times. If she gets an idea in her head, she wants to have it done as soon as possible, she can't just "go with the flow." Although she may have a hard time saying "no" to others, they will most likely have a hard time saying it to her as well. It's easy for her to manipulate with her words. Being in control of her life is important to Ava, but she does it more behind the scenes. She wont go screaming in a persons face if they do something wrong, she'll plan something sneaky behind their back. She likes to be in control of what she does because if she's not, she's afraid that things will go wrong.
Even if she doesn't realize it sometimes, Ava is a pretty flirty person. When she talks to a boy, it's like her body immediately responds to it. Making her give off hair flips and touching the guy's arm ever so lightly. It comes as easy to her as breathing and sometimes, she can get herself in to trouble because of it. She's just all about having fun though. As long as she's having a good time, she's happy.

Ava was always the first to admit that she wasn't much of a party girl. In fact, the last time she had even been to a party at all was over break, it was her cousins eighth birthday party and the only reason she had gone at all was because Pheonix had begged her to go. This went to explain why what was happening now was probably one of the strangest things Ava would ever do. Another seventh year had mentioned a party that was going on tonight, said that quite a few people were going to be there and told her that she should go. Never before had Ava been invited to a party, so she treated it as some sort of sign that she was supposed to go. Besides, she knew that if she didn't end up going she would constantly be thinking about what could have happened. So instead of staying in the common room or library reading books all night, Ava was headed to the party.
There was a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach. She was really starting to wish that she would have just given in to herself and invited Pheonix to come along. Ava could just invite her now of course, but then she had to remind herself that she couldn't depend on her sister forever. That had been the whole point of this. It was her seventh year, it was time to break out of her shell. No more hiding. The first step to this whole life change thing was a little dramatic, but she didn't care. Because honestly, she didn't think an opportunity like this would ever arise again.
She was pretty close to the place where the party was going to be held now. Surprisingly though, she didn't hear any noises. From the way the person who had told her about this thing mentioned it, there was supposed to be a large amount of people here. But then she realized that they must have put a silencing charm over the area. That had to be it, right? Crap, she was starting to get paranoid. The whole seventh year class wouldn't be playing a trick on her, would they? No, she had never been made fun of before. Maybe she had just gone in the wrong direction.
The second that last thought crossed her mind, she stepped right past the edge of a big rock to reveal the party. Or at least, she thought it was the party. There was a bonfire and there were a few people. There was plenty of booze as well, it seemed like each person had a bottle by them. Ava wasn't a big drinker, she had never liked the taste of alcohol. Her heartbeat sped up as she glanced around at the three people here. Best case scenario, a crowd of people would come in behind her completely erasing her own awkward arrival from the people around the fire. Unfortunately, she wasn't that lucky. "Um... am I at the right place...?" She hated the sound of her voice and she hated that she couldn't think up anything better to say. Oh, she hoped her night would somehow get a whole lot better.
