Demetrius slowly made his way down the second floor corridor, hand tucked into his pocket. He stopped in front of a stone gargoyle. Saying the password to the headmistress office the statue spring into life and he stepped onto the steps as they moved up. Reaching the door at the top he knocked, waiting for an answer before entering. Hoping that Professor McGonagall was in.

Minerva was sitting in her office. She was doing some papers when she heard a knock. She looked up from a desk. She blinked wondering who was behind her door. "Come in, please." - she said politely. She cleaned up her desk form paper work and waited for someone to walk in.

Crossing the room Demetrius took a seat in the chair she gestured to. Glad that he wasn't bothering her. "I'm sure you already know from when I apply for the care of magical creatures position that I have a daughter," he started. "Currently she's staying at my parents, but I was wondering if it would be alright if she stayed with me Thursday night through Sunday. My parents aren't as young as they use to be and she's quite a handful with bundles of energy and I've started to feel that she a bit much for them to handle for the whole school year," Demetrius explained.

Minerva was listening him carefully. She nodded her head to cinfirm that she understands. She was very old too and she knew how hard is to cope with everything. She also has a son who was born when she was already old and it was hard without his father to bring up him. She sighed before she spoke. "I can understand it. It is really hard to bring up a child when you are not as young as you used to be. - she said smiling - I was in hard situation too when I gave birth to my son. Fortunately he matured fastly. - she winked at him and then adjusted her glasses - I think I can accept your request. It is understandable you want to take this sweet weight of their shoulders. - she smiled like a good aunty - Weekends are free for you so I think it won't be a 'big' trouble to bring your daughter here."

He was rather glad that she understood his position he was in with taking care of his daughter and things were hard without her mother around. For the first few months after his wife's death it had been hard with Kacie walking up in the middle of the night crying for her, but they had adapted and had moved on. Caroline would have wanted them to be happy. "Thank you Minerva. I really do appreciate you allowing this," he replied smiling. He missed having his daughter with him and knew that this would be good.
