Cedric was rushed into the hospital wing, after he stumbled his way back into the school at 12:30 am. He had been tricked into going into the black forest. He got a letter that he though looked like it was from his ex Idril and she wanted to talk to him there. He didn't realizer it was a trap to try and kill him. He got to the forest and instead of finding Idril he found Rasputin a cronies of his family's ex friend Ivan. Rasputin looked at Cedric, then when the full moon came out from behind the clouds. He turned into a werewolf. Cedric didn't even bring his wand. Then the bastard came at him with full speed. He scratched Cedric's back and chest twice. But Cedric did train as a seeker when at Drumstrang so it was able to make it so he got his arm up. Rasputin bit into his right arm and Cedric punched him with his left and then kicked him. He was able to escape but was very badly hurt. He knew he was never going to be human any more.

It was a long day for Idril Flyer. Classes, homework, tutoring younger students – all that consumed much time, yet hours seemed longer then they really were. She was exhausted yet she had to do her prefect rounds before she could go to bed finally. And she checked floors she was given to round. She sent a few students back to their dorms because they were out after curfew. She was too nice to actually take points away or reporting them to any professor. Of course she tried to be strict but it wasn't like other prefect would act. Beside she was too tired to play with that. She was in front of the Ravenclaw common room's entrance when some student from her house ran to her. A boy told her he saw someone that looked like Cedric Krum walking into the castle and that he was pretty injured. Idril's eyes grew big. She questioned the boy for any detail he could have seen and then rushed to the hospital wing, three floors down.
Maybe they didn't have much in common now. Maybe they weren't together anymore but they were still good friends. They cared for each other without a doubt. Cedric was Idril's first love ever and even though he broke her heart previous term, she wasn't the one to hold grudges against anyone for long. He apologized at last and they were on good terms or so she thought. Idril ran into the hospital wing seeing Cedric indeed injured as she was informed by a fellow Ravenclaw. She saw that nurse was taking care of him and when the woman spotted Idril she told her to go back to her dorm but Idril wasn’t going to do that. "I'm sorry miss, but Cedric's one of my best friends, I can't leave him like that." she said and walked over to the bed where Ced was laid. "Cedric? What happened, dear?" she sat in a chair next to his bed looking at him worriedly.

Cedric heard Idril's voice and heard her ask what happened. He didn't open his eyes but he clenched his left hand into a extremely tight fist to were it was turned very white. "That bastard Ivan sent one of his men who is a werewolf after me. If I ever recover from his I will kill them both for this and for what they did to my family. I sawer on my life I will." He said with so much hate and anger. He wasn't being careful and a glass jar on the other side of the room completely shattered. Ced heard it and laughed a bit in amusement. "That hasn't happened for years. Well at least at school it hasn't at home it is more common. I was doing that when I was doing the work I had sent to me last year. But when I have home work I do it because I thinking too hard and or concentrating too hard." He said in a very week laugh. He then turned his attention to Idril. "It's good to see you again. Sorry about it being like this thou. Was so not planing on it, I was hopping to get my old prefect job back but not shore if that is possible or not right now. Not really shore if any one here can make the Wolfsbane Potion or not. If no one can I mite have to leave the school or have to stay at the place where Teddy's father had to, I think you know where I'm talking about. That mite be the only other safe way and I mite have to leave my home to keep Siren and Binky and Dinky safe too. But I am a bit more sad and pissed off at the fact I can't be around any of my friends or family. You, Siren, and Sonja are one of them. But if I must it is for the best, man I'm glad our dad made a special vault for me that is mine and that dad was nice enough to put money in it and mum did the same, well all the family did that with Siren too and now that are grandparents are gone all their money and other things were evenly divided into mum's vault, dad's, Siren's and mine. I'm am glad they don't have to see me have to go throe this." He said with his voice cracking and weak.

Idril hoped he was alright, that it was nothing serious. She thought maybe he dueled somebody for fun and practice or maybe his clumsiness was back. It could be his habit to do dangerous things he did at Durmstrang too but she wasn’t sure. She just tried to think of things she wouldn’t be so worried about. She hoped it was something petty and that Cedric would tell her she didn’t have to be concerned. But Idril noticed Cedric clenching his hand. It was the sign she understood as introducing to something serious. She widened her eyes hearing Ced’s words, noticing a tone he spoke with, understanding a meaning of them. Werewolf! What if the creature bit him? A girl put a hand onto her mouth immediately to burke a sound that wanted to escape her lips that very moment. A breaking glass didn’t impress her. She had her mind elsewhere and gaze on Cedric’s face. Ced explained what happened to the glass but she didn’t care about it. It wasn’t important. She wanted to know how he was feeling. She smiled a sad smile when he looked at her. She wanted to say something but Cedric started talking again and she wasn’t the one to interrupt. She thought it was rude even though Ced talked a lot as for himself. Maybe he wanted to explain everything to her or maybe he just felt the need to speak because of her presence. She didn’t know, she was just worried because his voice and laugh seemed weak. She hoped speaking didn’t cause to much pain because she couldn’t make herself to butt in when he didn’t finish yet. Idril nodded to confirm she knew what he was talking about. She read a lot and she knew many things, whether from recent or late past. She had a good memory as well, that’s why she excelled in many Hogwarts’ subjects. When Ced was done with his rather long speech Idril reached his cheek and caressed it. "You shouldn’t speak that much, love." she started forcing a smile onto her face but for real wanting to cry. "As long as you need my help, I’ll be there for you. I’m sure Wolfsbane Potion won’t be a problem for our Potion’s teacher. It’s not like you’re the only one, right?" Idril tried so hard to hold back the tears. Cedric’s life wasn’t too easy even without lycanthropy. But he was tough, wasn’t he? "But… I think you should inform your family about it, especially since I heard Siren’s coming back to school soon." one single tear rolled down her cheek.

Ced smiled. "I have a feeling she already knows and she is pissed. But I will need help trying to get this blasted werewolf bite cleaned out. It doesn't smell like it's doing so good. I am glade I already did have a good ses of smell before. But this is ridicules now. By the way like the perfume or body spray your wearing. It's a very good sent on you." He said with a slight laugh. He started to site up and took off the bandage he had on his right arm. He looked at it and sighed. It had a small chunk taken out of it and it had a slight yellow cooler. "Well its getting infected now. But it will not be a picnic to drain it and clean it out. Glad I know how to. Hey sweetie could you get me a bottle of hygiene peroxide, rubbing alcohol and a big boll very hot soapy water and my paring knife for me I had left it hear last year by accident. O and can you get some bandages and some clean white cloth to clean the knife and to uses with the bandages please." He said to Idril. He knew she would not really be happy about what he was going to do but it needed to be done and fast. Or he mite lose his arm. "Idril I'm really glad to see you again. I hope you have been doing better. I am also sorry Siren and I haven't been writing to you. Si has been working on a new broom. She is wanting to make a broom stick business that makes and repairs them." He said laughing.

It was like the worst nightmare coming back again and again. Every time she seemed to be happy something had to ruin it, ruin it all. Idril was getting used to living the misery life. She started to be happy even about the smallest things because she didn't know when it all was going to turn bad again. She really could find happiness in misery. She didn't change much because of that though. She just knew she had to survive at least to help others. And now Cedric needed her help. She would never say no even if they didn't know each other. Helping others despite her own issues was her destiny or so it seemed. No matter of how much evil she experienced, Idril Casey Flyer had a very good heart. She was a lonely soul that dedicated her life to getting knowledge and what this knowledge brought – helping anyone that needed help. She barely had time for herself but she never complained.
Listening to Cedric's next words Idril pulled a tissue out of her robe pocket, dried to tears and blew her nose. She had to be tough, not whinny while Ced hated seeing her cry. She had to get herself together and do whatever was needed. She had to blink at the comment about her perfume. She thought maybe he was just joking because it must have faded long ago as she woke up early in the morning but she understood his senses started to sharpen because of the infection. "Um… thank you." she said uneasily. Then she winced a little at the wound he had on his right arm. It wasn't a nice look but it was completely understandable. Idril hear what Cedric said next and looked back at his face. She nodded and stood up immediately to get him everything he needed at the very moment. She thought that it would be better if a nurse took care of it but she trusted Cedric and was sure he could do it as well. She read that in Durmstrang students were taught extreme things and their skills were somewhat better and more useful than Hogwarts students. At least it was Bulgaria, conditions they had were tougher. It was more dangerous there, she thought. "Yes, of course, right away." Idril said and moved to get everything Ced talked about. Looking for it she heard him speaking again. She looked at him from a drawer she found some needed things in and smiled. "It's okay, Cedric. I understand." she said knowing that it wasn't the most important thing. People had better, more important things to do. Even she herself had so much to do lately that it was hard to find time to write a word and send it. "And that's wonderful she has a passion like that." she added bringing a few needed items and setting them on the cabinet next to his hospital bed. Then she got back to looking for more. It was very useful she had a good memory or she would have to ask Cedric hundred times about what else he needed and she forgot.

Cedric worked on his arm for a bit and it was starting to look better. He was glade it was getting a bit better but he knew he was no longer human. He was not to bothered by it but it would be hard to get use to the hole full moon problem. Ced looked at Idril and smiled. "Your a bit help you know that?" He told her. He was glad that she was helping him. "How was your summer by the way?" He asked. He knew he would have to change the subject. He didn't really mined. He was really wanting to hear how it was. Idril was supposed to have a good summer he felt. Ced knew that Idril was having problems with her cousin. He knew about her and he mite have met her, but he really didn't remember. Ced hopped she was doing better then he was over the summer. But he had a felling she didn't. It was not fun for him to see her so lonely and sad. He hatted it. He didn't know what to do thou. He still really cared about her and still loved her. But he wasn't shore if they should be together, apishly after what happened last year. He didn't stop loving her. He didn't know if she felt the same way, he felt it was best not to ask. Ced felt he should let her be a friend so she could find some one better then him. It was so painful to have to tell him self that but he knew it mite be best.

Idril got everything Cedric needed so she sat back in a chair beside the bed. What he had to do with his arm wasn’t the nicest look again. But it was good he could do it himself even though the Hogwarts nurse could do it for him easily. Yet, theoretically if there was no nurse around or any healer, it was very good to have knowledge and skills like that so you could help yourself. And indeed Cedric started to look better along with his arm. She smiled back at him and even brighter when he praised her for the help. It was nothing really. But it was good to hear that from him. "Why thank you, dear." she said then heard his question about the summer. She thought he knew some of it since he sent a few little house elves to watch for her, check if she was okay. It was nice of him he cared that much. "Not bad." she said simply. "But it’s not important. I think you need some sleep now." she reached his cheek saying it and caressed it. "We will talk in the morning, alright?" Idril smiled a nice comforting smile. She really thought it would be better for him to get some sleep. It was a long day and sleep seemed to be a medicine most of the time. And she needed it too. She was tired and it was visible, yet she came here to help him in need. OOC; I have no more ideas for that thread. sorry

Cedric Yawned and nodded. "Ya your right, I'm very sleepy. You can go back to your common room Id. I'll be all right I bet they will take me to St. Mungo some time this week. Man I hope I don't ever get fleas and or ticks when I turn. O man that would be madding." He said. "I have heard of people who in their animagus form had that happen." He said laughing. Ced knew he would be leaving Hogwarts to go and be treated at St. Mungo's may be much sooner then he or Idril though. But he knew it would be better and safer.
