More Information
History:
Evelyn was born and raised in Hogsmeade, Britain. Her biological mother gave her up when Evelyn was born for unknown reasons. Vivi hasn't seen or heard from her biological mother since. Evelyn's adoptive parents, Joanne and Mark (Joanne a muggle, Mark a wizard) have never told Evelyn she was adopted. Therefore, she is under the impression she is a middle-class half-blood, when in fact she has pureblood heritage and was born of a rich family.
Evelyn has always lived a peaceful life. Her parents, both authors, raised her in a way that resulted her in being intelligent and mature for her age. Because of this, Evelyn has never fit in with her peers, and prefers to spend time alone, with her parents, with animals or with a book. When Evelyn was young, too young to remember, the family moved to France. England's inspiring atmosphere was wearing off, and Mark and Joanne thought France would provide a new inspiration. This theory, however, was proved wrong when the family settled in and realized France was not the place for them. They did not wish to return to England, as Evelyn seemed to enjoy France immensely. It was only when Evelyn received her letter from Hogwarts and Beauxbatons that they decided to return to their original home. Mark and Joanna had always been fond of Hogwarts and its practices.
Nowadays, Evelyn is currently in her seventh year. She wishes to be a professor at Hogwarts when she gains her qualifications.
Personality:
Evelyn is a quiet, unnoticed girl who keeps to herself most of the time. She is warm and friendly when you get close to her, however most do not have the opportunity to see this side of her. Evelyn is mature, intelligent, strong-willed and stubborn. Regardless of her "timid" appearance, Evelyn finds no difficulty standing up for herself and others when the time calls. The fact that she has no close friends and few acquaintances does not bother her, as she has always enjoyed her own company.
Likes:
Literature, drama, animals, harp music and forests.
Dislikes:
Selfishness, obnoxiousness, bullying, Divination and beaches.

Weak tendrils of sun penetrated Evelyn's curtains. The soft sunlight shone on her face, causing the sleeping girl to wake. She opened her green eyes blearily and brushed the disarray of hair off her face. She was in a plain but comfortable bedroom. Her surroundings suggested she didn't care for shiny or colorful decor like girls her age did, nor, it seemed, did she possess anything but books, movies or family heirlooms. Her floor bore an old-fashioned thick rug that displayed a detail design the brought out the soft green in her walls.
Evelyn rolled gracefully out of bed, yawning as she did so. She had had a late night, spent hunched over a new book. It was Magyk by Angie Sage, a muggle author and friend of her mother's. The book amused her, as some of the magic used in it seemed very similar to real magic. Evelyn wondered how much her mother had told Angie of the wizarding world as she swiftly showered and dressed into a simple baby blue dress and white flats. As always, she looked amazing as she stepped soundlessly through her home. Upon reaching the kitchen, Evelyn saw her parents sitting at the table, looking at her expectantly. This was a slightly unusual sight. Mark and Joanne were, every single morning, found at the kitchen table; except busy with their breakfast and newspapers, rather than staring with wide grins at their daughter.
Evelyn took cautious steps toward her parents and poured herself a glass of orange juice.
"Mum," she addressed, "Dad."
This caused Mark and Joanne to smile even wider. Evelyn raised her eyebrows in return.
"I don't think she's remembered what day it is, yet." Mark said to his wife, eyes locked on Evelyn. At this, the cup slipped from her hands. Evelyn's gasp was muffled by the crash.
"Now she's remembered."
