Minerva couldn't believe that her two students; and one of them was a Head Girl could send her a stupid letter about the raising dark lord etc. She went upstair after two Slytherins who tried to make a prank on her. Or maybe she just thought it was a prank. When they were already opposite the gobelin headmistress said a password to her office and let students to get ahead. She walked in after them and then took a place at her armchair. She showed them to get closer to her desk. When they were already there she spoke "What is wrong with you?! Do you think that it is so funny?!" she looked very serious.

Lisa was watching Headmistress saying a password to her office and then showing stairs. She went upstairs and walked into the office. No expression on her face when McGonagall walked in after them and sat at her armchair. Seeing a wave of her hand Lisa drew closer to headmistress's desk. Hearing her questions Lisa said nothing. She just stood at her place impudently gawping at her. She put a hand on a hip. Of course she should look like a humble girl who's worry about her future. But it wasn't her nature.

Artemus stood there, staring at Lisa out of the bottom of his hood. He then pulled down the hood revealing the black white and gray face paint. "Headmistress, as I said before no prank was to be made, I was simply down on the grounds teaching the boy how to duel, I have heard the same rumors you have and I am very aware of the dangers and want our students ready to fight. Lisa, as I also said before, saw us and rushed down to stop us. If anything punish me, I do not mind detentions, but Lisa was just doing her job as head girl."

Lisa stared at Artemus and raised an eyebrow as he kept on his previous words. What if those who call themselves good will tell Headmistress what really was going on? Hearing what he said about her she was shoked. But tried to not show it up. She wondered what he was up to. As she turned her head back to McGonagall she nodded to confirm 'a truth' of his words. "I'm sorry, professor but I have to say that I feel like take offence. Suspecting as for making pranks only because we are Slytherins..." she paused to take a breath "As I read in hogwarts history book Gryffindors were always good in that."

McGonagall didn't like Lisa's posture. What an inpudent girl? Headmistress grunted touching her chin. Then she saw Artemus reaviling face paint. She raised an eyebrow although she's seen this before. She listened boy's words. He just tried to take all responsibility for himself. Minerva noticed Lisa's nod and then listened her words. She wanted to laugh when she remind herself Gryffindors pranks. But she controlled herself. She just let a small smile enter her face. But Minerva knew also that any Gryffindor couldn't joke about the new dark lord that way. "I suppose you don't know who this...hmm... 'dark lord' is. I'm sorry for suspecting you two but everything point at you. Four students were against you." she caught head girl's gaze. "Even your friend, miss Greenbay."

A girl noticed headmistress's smile and thought it was a good point. then she heard some kind of apologize? or maybe she was wrong. At mentioned friend Lisa frowned. "She's not my friend, professor. She doesn't behave like a friend." Lisa shook her head as she spoke about Jessica. But she said those words only because of Jessie's last behaviour. She was a good friend before. But a part of Lisa's nightmare came true. Someone betrayed them. She couldn't believe it was Jessica.

"The girl you speak of has fallen for a first year gryffindor Headmistress, that obviously clouds her judgement. She even thought I was going to attempt to murder the boy on the school grounds, or her herself. I take great offense to that, I am a top student here, why would I want to kill anyone?" Artemus asked looking at McGonagall. "I also take it that a fourth or fifth year can be in a commited relationship with a first year, and that is okay. Then the fact it is cross house is just absolutley appauling. I must admit I do not like Griffindor house at all, but I would not attempt a killing on one, not now insuch dier times."

Headmistress was a bit suprised seeing Lisa's frown and then her words. She didn't exactly know what was a description of a friend for Lisa. But she kept for herself what she thought about it. Hearing Artemus voice she looked at him. As she heard his words about being a top student etc. Minerva thought that Tom Riddle was at the top as well. And he became a Voldemort.
"Well, Gryffindor and Slytherin do not like each other for ages. It is a feature that I can not change." Minerva smiled. "Let me say that I believe you two." she looked at both of them "But I have no choice. I must give you a detention at least. For duel practise you have a dueling hall inside the castle. Not school grounds at night. Do we understand? So, after classes at Professor Whites classroom I want to see you two with a bunch of a parchment, quill and ink. I think you will hate writing. As a Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher appear she will give you some a little assigment." Minerva rubbed her chin "Alright, Lisa. You are free. Go straight to your dormitory. Mr. Dowell maybe you take a sit, please." she pointed a chair opposite her. "I need to talk to you in private."

Artemus nodded and smiled giving Lisa a small hug then sat down in the chair the Headmistress had pointed out to him. It was slightly comfy, as comfy as a wooden chair could be. But he snuggled in it either way, setting his right foot ontop of his right knee and putting his hands together laying them on his lap. "Yes Headmistress, what would you need to talk to me about?"

Lisa was listening Headmistress words carefully. She smiled a little hearing about that kind of detention. It wasn't that bad. And then she heard she was free. "At last." she thought and nodded her head. Hearing that Artemus had to stay there Lisa wondered what more McGonagall might want from him yet. But it was even better for her to go alone, without him. She still wasn't sure of his intentions. Why did he take all responsibility for himself? And then he gave her a hug. She took a short look at him sitting down in a chair and turned to walked away. She went straight to the door of Headmistress's office, opened them and left closing the door behind her. ((Everything after that is in dungeons ))

McGonagall was watching her students' simple goodbye. She smiled seeing Artemus sitting down and Lisa's leave. She gave Artemus a time to nestle in a chair. She heard his simple question. She adjusted glasses on her nose before she spoke. "First of all I wanted to ask you what does it mean this paint on your face? Maybe I am too old to understand but I have seen a lot in my life and it shouldn't surprise me. However it does. Then, tomorrow I will hear other version of this little event from four students. I think you understand me that it won't be good for you if they say something different to your words. Did you do something which made them think about you as a dark lord?"

Artemus smiled and pointed to his face, "This, this face paint, war paint as it is, is something I simply wear for a battle, or a duel. It has no other meaning at all, simply war paint. Like those old Indians in America you used to hear about, I simply wear it because it makes me looks odd, adds a level of fear, which as I'm sure you know can be helpful in the quest for a victory." Artemus smiled and then shook his head, "I have done nothing to make it seem as if I am the new Dark Lord. I simply read, and maybe you have seen my book, or maybe not, but I find the fact that I read Tom Marvolo Riddle: I Am Voldemort, and that suddenly makes me the new dark lord offensive. I've had the book since I was little, and in all honesty if I brought it to you here you would find no dark magic in it nor it possessing anything wrong, just historical facts."

McGonagall listened carefully every little word of her student to not miss any hidden meaning. But she found nothing suspicious. Even in his smile was nothing wrong. Maybe not at all because that smile mixed with a face paint was incomprehensible. "I see. Just had to ask. Alright, young man. It is late, go to your dorm. When I need something else from you I will call for you. Remember about a detention. Don't be late. Goodnight, mr. Dowell." she said smiling politely

"Goodnight Headmistress," Artemus said and bowed out of the room. He left quickly with a small smile, unnoticably sliding across his face. He would have his revenge, and there would be people taken out quite quickly.
