The fresh smell of eggs and bacon filled Chris' senses as he drowsily entered the Great Hall. He normally slept in on a Saturday but this being one of the first days of the new year Chris had felt the desire for an early breakfast. An instinctive glance at the ceiling told him that it would be a good day for touching up on his Quidditch skills. There was just enough wind to make passing the Quaffle challenging enough to keep him alert.
Taking a seat at the temporarily empty Ravenclaw table, Chris loaded his plate up with ham and scrambled eggs and waited for some other students to wake.

Idril walked into the great hall with a book in her hands holding it tightly on her chest. She took a deep breath smelling breakfast. She looked around and she saw Chris sitting at Ravenclaw table. She smiled at the sight of his plate. A prefect came up to her fellow and took a seat next to him. "Hi there. Having breakfast, huh? Bon appetit." she said laughing lightly. She put her book on a table and smiled at Chris.

Thinking he was alone, Chris stuffed a piece of bacon in his mouth and looked up as one his fellow classmates sat right next to him.
"Hi there. Having breakfast, huh? Bon appetit."
Quickly swallowing without thinking, Chris smiled at Idril as she sat.
"Oh hey. Didn't expect anyone else this early, He greeted back quickly, red-faced as he quickly drank some orange juice and complimented himself for not choking. Then he added, "What got you awake at this time of morning?"
He looked up at the ceiling at the dark golden sky. The first signs of sunlight were barely visible at the edge of the magical masterpiece.
"Congratulations on becoming Chaser for the 5th year in the row," Chris grinned at Idril, past memories of the games their team wouldn't have won without her skills and quick manuevering. "I was just a little late in reapplying, I was looking forward to us destroying the other teams like we've done in the past."
He was a bit disappointed in his delay to returning to Hogwarts that kept him from trying to keep his own Chaser position, though he felt good about the filled positions on the team. He was particularly interested in watching the 3rd year Ravenclaw whom he'd met in Potions class. As was his dad.

Idril giggled under her nose as she noticed his red face. She heard his question and smiled. She hadn't enough time to answer when she heard what he said next. She looked at her lap blushing a little. She flattered her eyelashes before she looked back at Chris. "Gee, thanks." she said. "Oh, and at your question: I just awaked and couldn't fall asleep again."

It was another great morning at Hogwarts as Liam walked to the great hall, accompanied by his older sister. The two seemed inseperable when it came to alot of things. If it weren't for Mila, Liam would have probably been alot different than he is now. The duo sat down at the Ravenclaw table.
"Miles..I'm so glad you came with me to Hogwarts." Mila spoke, adressing Liam by his nickname, her russian accent easily noticed. She had remained at home with him since their mother and father refused to let him join her. Sure, she knew of his 'ailment', but she didn't care about that. "How do you feel about being here?" she asked him, a smile on her face, her aquamarine eyes glittered.
"I....I feel great being here." he said, his own accent, smiling to his sister. He hadn't thought about it much, but now that he did, his life was about one-hundred times greater than it seemed before. What once was pale skin had now been colored thanks to the sun. What was a meek build was now decent and obviously healthy. "I'm still surprised I managed to get into the quidditch team." he told her honestly. He didn't expect to become chaser for the house team whatsoever.
Listening to her brother's sweet voice, Mila couldn't be sad about anything anymore. Her heart fluttered at the very fact that Liam was as happy as he could ever be. She had begun to eat some toast and ham, while observing her brother eat egg, sausage and toast. "You sure enjoy eating meat, don't you?" she giggled in a teasing tone. She couldn't blame him at all.
((this conversation is just for me to get the two involved, and also I like fillers. XD))

In almost the empty great hall Idril heard a conversation. She turned her head there. She smiled seeing her house mates. She waved to them smiling. Then she turned back to Chris waiting for him to reply. She looked into his blue almost grey eyes. They were hypnotic for her.

Chris smiled back, his face finally back to a normal color, and glanced up as the morning owls swooped in from the dusty owlery above. His eyes searching for the snowy owl with the light-blue eyes that belonged to his parents, the warm candles and morning sunlight of the Great Hall vanished. He was standing in a dark hallway. The shadows prevented Chris from being able to make out his surroundings, but he made out a figure at the side. Walking instinctively towards the shadow, sounds came from opposite a dark door near the thing that Chris noticed was a child.
"It's not my position to stop him if he wants to see our boy, honey," A man had spoken from a bedroom, unaware of the young boy standing just outside of a locked door. Chris stood just in front of the small boy, who's features were oddly blurred as he stood there as still as a statue.
"But you know as well as I that if he finds us he will be taken from us!" A woman replied fiercely.
"He will not go to that awful place," The man muttered angrily, the sound of a fist hitting a table made the boy jump and place his ear against the door.
"Should we tell him?" Came the woman's frightened voice. "If this is our last week with him we shouldn't let him go with no clue of his future?"
"No!" The man yelled. "We'll be able to hold him off for now. For how long I can't say but at least long enough so my son can grow up like his friends! Besides if his path is already laid out for him, we should be there for him when that time comes. And now is not that time!"
The man's voice broke, and there was silence in the room. His curiosity getting the better of him, Chris tried to open the door, but it was locked. Reaching for his wand, he grabbed nothing but his robes. The boy took no notice.
"If he can wait ten years, that should be long enough," The man whispered finally, his voice pleading.
"What should we offer?" The woman asked, pacing quickly back and forth.
"Whatever he wants," The man answered immediately. "Our boy is the most important part of our lives. That thing will have to go through me to get to him."
The small boy gasped, and footsteps began towards the bedroom door. Scurrying off into the darkness, the boy vanished as the door creaked open and a tall shadowed figure stepped out and stopped in the middle of the hall. He stared down towards where the boy had vanished and slowly turned his head towards where Chris was. Though his face was entirely in shadow, Chris sensed a look of wonder had crossed the man's face. Inclining his head towards where Chris was standing in the mysterious vision, the man gave a slow nod and disapparated along with the surrounding scene.
The Great Hall came back into view, and there was juice spilled all over Chris' side of the table. Pale and shivering slightly, Chris flicked his wand and the table was clean. His eyes focusing, Chris grabbed his bag and began to hurry out of the hall.
"Sorry, Idril, I gotta' go," He mumbled as he staggered out of the hall.
Hurrying into the nearest broom closet out of sight, Chris slid down the wall and closed his eyes. Where had the vision come from and did it have anything to do with him. Chris didn't recognize the hallway or voices in the room, but he had felt a strange feeling as the young boy had ran. And then the man had seemingly acknowledged him, but he wasn't part of that scene, was he? The clothes of the family were a bit out of style, so the events in that vision had probably taken place about a decade earlier if he had to guess.
Feeling suddenly light-headed, Chris awkwardly rose to his feet and walked out of the closet, past the Great Hall quickly so no one would see him and follow/question him, and to the Grounds where he would sit under his favorite oak tree by the lake for a couple of minutes that would turn into hours.

The siblings continued to converse before seeing the sudden movement of Chris, both bewildered by the randomness of it. Before Liam could question about it, Mila spoke. "Uh...wow..." she started, somewhat uncomfortable before she looked at Idril. "Hello there. My name is Mila, and this is my brother." she giggled a little, gesturing to her brother. Waving a little shyly, Liam smiled. "Hi..I'm Liam." he introduced himself hesitantly. It wasn't like Mila to put him on the spot like that, and he wondered what she had planned.

Engelith enters the great hall with a sleepy/blunt look on her face, yawns and silently finds her seat ... Looks at the people around her.. wondering how can these people be so loud in the morning. After a few moments she realizes she's been staring at the slytherin table for the past 3 minutes and a few of them noticed, grabs her head "Oh..no" I'm an idiot.. Shakes her head and begins to eat her scones, with a heavy blush on her face.. Sighs and starts thinking about her dear brother(her twin brother, who was her one and only friend and only contact in her childhood, it's not a sick twincest relationship okay!) Tilts her head and begins glaring at the people at the ravenclaw table who are talking and laughing. A nostalgic feeling overwhelms her ,"I live with these people, yet i do not know their names, maybe i should try to...make friends"
